Takirah Jones is a native of Augusta, Georgia, currently residing in Atlanta, with over 20 years of experience in early childhood education. She is a passionate educator, ordained Elder, certified life and professional coach, entrepreneur, and bestselling author of Igniting Change, available on Amazon.
She is the founder of Gyrl Talk with T, a women’s empowerment initiative dedicated to inspiring women to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. Takirah also founded KirahCare Sitter Services, providing trusted childcare support to families. Committed to service, she actively serves her community through outreach leadership, the Table of Givers, and the Destined for Greatness Outreach Youth Center.

I practice it in my everyday life by working towards goals that I set out for myself and don’t allow myself to fold under pressure. Keep going no matter what. Also, I see failure as a lesson.
I stand on the word of God. Philippians 4:13 says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. So, courage to me means stepping out on faith and doing it scared. And authenticity means being who you are and standing tall in boldness, realizing I can’t be duplicated. There’s only one me, and only I can do it the way I’m destined to do it.
If I had the power to change one thing in the world it would be Getting rid of Hate. Everything beautiful stems from Love and through love the world would be unified.

Throughout my journey, I’ve had some health struggles and grief that caused me to press pause on life . An accident where I almost lost my leg and had to learn how to walk again. A tumor in my back that had to be removed, and surviving a stroke. Losing my father, Grandfather, and bonus dad caused severe grief. My superpower was not giving up. With my strong faith in God and my amazing family and community, I gained the strength to persevere and come out victorious in every situation.
