I’m the founder of Naturally Equipped and Color of Golf, two platforms created from my belief that confidence, connection, and opportunity can truly change the trajectory of someone’s life.
Naturally Equipped focuses on helping women lead with confidence in business, sales, and networking by teaching relationship-building in a way that feels authentic, approachable, and empowering. Color of Golf was created to open doors in a sport and industry where many women and people of color have historically felt excluded or overlooked. We use golf as a tool for leadership, mentorship, business growth, and community.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just teach strategy — I teach people how to genuinely connect. My background in construction, property management, business development, and relationship-driven sales showed me firsthand how many opportunities happen in rooms and on golf courses where women are often underrepresented. I created spaces where women can learn, grow, build confidence, and create meaningful relationships without feeling intimidated.
At the heart of everything I do is purpose-driven impact: helping people feel seen, equipped, and confident enough to walk into spaces they once thought were not meant for them.
My journey started in the construction and commercial property management industry, where I spent nearly two decades building relationships, supporting clients, and navigating spaces that were often heavily male-dominated. I worked hard, learned how to communicate with people from all walks of life, and became known for building genuine relationships — not just making sales.
As I attended golf tournaments and industry events throughout my career, I noticed something that stayed with me: many of the key business conversations and relationships were being built on the golf course. While I often saw men strengthening connections with clients through golf, many women — especially women of color — were either absent, intimidated by the game, or never introduced to it at all.
At the same time, as an entrepreneur building my own businesses, I realized how powerful authentic networking and access could be. I understood that confidence, community, and relationship-building could open doors much faster than traditional sales tactics alone. That realization became the foundation for both Naturally Equipped and Color of Golf.
Naturally Equipped was created to help women build confidence in business, networking, and sales in a way that feels natural and empowering. Color of Golf was born from a deeper desire to create access, representation, and opportunity through golf — especially for women, youth, and underserved communities who may have never seen themselves in the sport.
Today, my work blends leadership development, mentorship, business education, and community-building through intentional events, golf experiences, and networking opportunities. What started as recognizing a gap has evolved into creating spaces where people feel welcomed, supported, and equipped to grow personally and professionally.
My journey has never been just about golf or business — it has always been about helping people realize they belong in rooms, conversations, and opportunities they may have once believed were out of reach.
Some of my proudest accomplishments have come from building platforms that genuinely impact and empower people through confidence, connection, and opportunity.
In 2024, I was honored to receive the “Keep Going Award” from Laik Experiences for my work through Naturally Equipped, recognizing my dedication to helping women grow in confidence, networking, and business development.
Through Color of Golf, I was also honored to be recognized by Jack & Jill of America – Pomona Chapter for creating inclusive golf and empowerment experiences that introduce youth and women to the game while teaching leadership, mentorship, and networking skills.
Other meaningful milestones include:
•Founding Color of Golf as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on expanding access and representation in golf and business.
•Becoming an official golf club with the Southern California Golf Association (SCGA), helping create even more opportunities for community, connection, and growth within the game of golf.
•Being highlighted and interviewed on KJLH Radio to discuss the mission and vision behind Color of Golf and the importance of creating more inclusive spaces in golf and business.
•Hosting impactful golf clinics, networking events, and community experiences that have helped women build confidence, friendships, business relationships, and new opportunities.
•Creating spaces where beginners feel welcomed into golf without intimidation, while also helping professionals leverage the game for business growth and leadership development.
•Being featured in a USGA commercial, which became a powerful reminder of how important representation in golf truly is.
•Building partnerships with community organizations, women’s groups, youth initiatives, and business leaders who believe in the mission of creating access and opportunity through golf and connection.
More than any title or recognition, my proudest accomplishment is hearing women and young people say they finally feel seen, confident, and empowered enough to pursue opportunities they once thought were not for them.
To me, being Dauntless doesn’t mean being fearless. It means deciding that fear and self-doubt don’t get the final say on what I do.
Courage doesn’t always look bold or sound loud. Sometimes it’s just saying yes before you’ve figured out every detail. It’s walking into a room where nobody looks like you and deciding you still belong there anyway. It’s starting something because you see a need, even when you don’t have the resources, or a how-to guide, or really any idea what you’re doing yet. And sometimes courage is just being able to say, “I don’t know” — and ask for help, and keep going anyway.
For me, that shows up as trying just to be authentic. I don’t think leadership means having all the answers or acting like everything’s fine when it’s not. Honestly, some of the most meaningful things I’ve built started with an idea, a need I couldn’t ignore, and my willingness to try.
That’s really what “I walk it like I talk it” means to me. Whether it’s through Naturally Equipped, Color of Golf, or the relationships I build day to day, I want people —especially women and young people —to know they don’t have to become someone else to be worthy of an opportunity. A lot of the time, we’re already equipped with more than we realize. We just need the confidence, the access, or someone to encourage us to use it.
Being Dauntless, to me, is putting one foot in front of the other while I’m still figuring things out. It’s letting myself grow without losing who I am. It’s choosing to be myself over trying to be perfect, choosing purpose over comfort, and being willing to open a door even when I don’t know exactly where it leads.
And when I can, I try not to walk through that door alone. I hold it open for whoever’s coming up behind me.
If I had the power to change one thing about the world, it would be how opportunity is distributed.
I believe brilliant ideas, incredible leaders, talented young people, and capable entrepreneurs exist everywhere. What isn’t everywhere is access.
Access to the right rooms. Access to information. Access to capital. Access to mentors. Access to relationships. Access to experiences that let someone actually see possibilities for themselves they may never have known existed.
I’ve seen how one introduction, one invitation, one person believing in someone — or just being exposed to a new environment — can completely change the trajectory of a person’s life.
That’s honestly a big part of why so much of my work centers around creating spaces and connections. Even my work through Color of Golf isn’t really about golf. Golf is just the vehicle. The bigger purpose is exposing people to relationships, leadership, business, confidence, mentorship, and opportunities they might not otherwise ever come across.
If I could change the world, I’d want someone’s starting point to stop determining how far they’re allowed to go.
I want young people exposed to possibilities early enough to dream bigger. I want women to recognize the value of their own voices and walk confidently into the spaces where decisions and opportunities are actually being made. I want small-business owners with great ideas to have access to the resources and relationships that let those ideas actually grow.
Because I don’t think the world is short on talented people.
I think too many talented people just haven’t been given access to the right opportunity yet.
And if I can spend my life helping change that — even one person, one introduction, one opportunity, one open door at a time — then I believe I’m doing work that matters.
Outside of my work, I am a proud mother of four children — two adults and two middle schoolers — and a grateful grandmother to one granddaughter and one bonus granddaughter. My family is my motivation and one of the biggest reasons I am so passionate about creating opportunities, confidence, and community for others. I am also an incredibly proud Air Force mom, which has deepened my appreciation for resilience, service, and leadership.
Personally, I enjoy golf and travel because both remind me of the beauty of connection, perspective, and stepping outside of your comfort zone. Golf has become more than a sport for me — it has become a pathway to community, healing, opportunity, and lifelong relationships.

One of the most important principles I live by is to lead with authenticity, intention, and service. I believe people remember how you made them feel long after they forget what you said, so I try to create spaces where people feel seen, valued, and encouraged to grow.
I also believe that opportunities expand when we are willing to confidently show up as ourselves, help others along the way, and keep going even when the journey feels uncomfortable or uncertain. That mindset has shaped both my personal life and the mission behind Naturally Equipped and Color of Golf.
