Collective Impact. Big Results.

About the Event

There is something powerful about people coming together for one common purpose: to give back and make a difference. And that is exactly what Table of Givers is all about.

TOG Leaders, TOG Friends, and family members recently came together at State Farm Arena for the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Million Meal Pack, joining thousands of volunteers for an incredible day of service. From the moment we arrived, the excitement was building.

From check-in and T-shirt pickup to walking through the doors of the arena, you could feel the anticipation. But once we stepped inside, the energy went to another level!

The DJ was rocking, the Atlanta Hawks cheerleaders were dancing, volunteers were smiling and laughing, and thousands of people were ready to serve. Then the meal packing began, and the arena transformed into one huge, continuous assembly line of impact.

Everyone had a role.

Scoop. Pack. Seal. Box. Repeat!

As each table completed a box, the table leader rang a bell and everyone cheered! It was fun, fast-paced, and incredibly rewarding.

But beyond the music, dancing, and excitement was something much bigger: PURPOSE!

Personally, it felt good knowing that every meal we packed would eventually reach someone who needed it. There is something special about stepping outside of yourself and contributing to something larger than you. That spirit of service is at the heart of the Table of Givers mission.

And our TOG community showed up in a BIG way.

TOG Friends joined us from near and far, with some even flying in from other states specifically to participate. We also had a TOG Leader travel many hours to serve alongside us. That meant so much. Their presence was a powerful reminder that people believe in the mission of Table of Givers and are willing to show up, serve, and support the work we are doing.

Another meaningful part of the day was seeing TOG families serving together, including young children.Watching the next generation participate reminded me why we must continue to create opportunities for people to give back. We are not only serving our communities today; we are showing our children what compassion, service, and community look like in action.

That is how the spirit of giving continues.

And together, we were part of an incredible collective impact.

More than 5,000 volunteers packed over 1 million meals to help families facing food insecurity throughout metro Atlanta. The meals will be distributed with support from U.S. Hunger to local organizations serving our communities.

The need is significant. According to the Atlanta Community Food Bank, one in eight Georgians faces food insecurity, including one in six children in its service area.

Those numbers are exactly why showing up and serving matters.

At Table of Givers, our mission is about more than attending volunteer events. It is about bringing people together, creating meaningful opportunities to serve, strengthening community, and inspiring others to make giving back a way of life. The Million Meal Pack was a beautiful example of that mission in action.

We laughed. We danced. We packed. We cheered. Most importantly, we served.

And we did it TOGether.

If you missed the Million Meal Pack this year, put this one on your radar for next year. You definitely do not want to miss it!

Collective impact creates big results, and TOGether, we are making a difference.

At Table of Givers, giving back is at the heart of everything we do.
