Serving with Purpose: TOG Leaders and Friends Make an Impact at MUST Ministries

About the Event

At Table of Givers (TOG), service is more than something we do. It is who we are.

On Saturday, June 6, TOG Leaders and TOG Friends came together for an inspiring day of service at the MUST Ministries Mobile Food Pantry. Proudly wearing our stylish TOG t-shirts, our team spent the morning directing traffic, greeting clients with warm smiles, and loading vehicles with fresh produce, meat, and non-perishable essentials for families in need.

The experience was both humbling and uplifting.

MUST Ministries’ Mobile Pantry is a food distribution program serving families throughout the metro Atlanta area. By bringing fresh groceries and essential items directly into communities, the Mobile Pantry helps address one of the most pressing challenges facing families today: access to food. Through generous monetary and in-kind donations, MUST Ministries continues to meet this critical human need and provide hope to thousands across our region.

As volunteers, we witnessed firsthand the impact that a simple act of kindness can have on someone’s day. Every bag loaded and every smile shared served as a reminder that together, we can make a meaningful difference.

But the impact did not stop there.

While serving the community was our primary mission, the day also strengthened the bonds of sisterhood among our TOG family. Through laughter, conversation, teamwork, and a shared commitment to helping others, we deepened relationships and created lasting memories.

Following the volunteer shift, the group gathered for brunch at a charming restaurant in Marietta Square. Around the table, the smiles continued, conversations flowed effortlessly, and the chemistry among the ladies was undeniable. It was a beautiful reminder that serving others and investing in our own wellness and relationships can go hand in hand.

During brunch, TOG Founder LaShanda Pitts announced that TOG Leader Deloria Pride Chubbs will serve as Executive Director for the 2026-2027 term. Deloria shared words of enthusiasm and gratitude, thanking the ladies for believing in the power of collective impact and for their continued commitment to serving others. She also reminded everyone of the value of being a TOG Friend, including access to meaningful volunteer opportunities, enriching experiences, genuine connections, and the collective power to make a lasting difference in the lives of others.

The day concluded with full hearts, fond memories, strengthened camaraderie, and a renewed commitment to serving our community.

Giving back is at the heart of everything we do at Table of Givers. Whether we’re volunteering, supporting local nonprofits, or creating opportunities to serve, we believe that one giver can make a difference, but together, we create lasting impact.

Stay tuned for our next opportunity. You do not want to miss it.
