Showing Up, Serving & Making an Impact: The Table of Givers in Action
On Saturday, August 22nd, The Table of Givers (TOG) had the incredible opportunity to volunteer with the Foster Care Support Foundation for an amazing day of community service! The Foster Care Support Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting foster children, foster families, and the community by providing resources, assistance, and meaningful support to help families thrive.
Our TOG leaders rolled up their sleeves and helped with the seasonal clothing swap-out, preparing clothing and resources to serve foster care children and families better as they transition into a new season.
But this experience was about so much more than sorting and swapping clothes. We had the opportunity to learn about the incredible work the Foster Care Support Foundation does to support foster children, foster parents, and families in our community. ❤️
And we didn’t keep this experience to ourselves!
We intentionally invited non-TOG Friends to come alongside us and experience the power of giving firsthand. What happened next was truly special. They were so moved by the organization’s mission and the impact of serving that they decided they wanted to become TOG Friends themselves!
That’s what The Table of Givers is all about—creating opportunities to serve, building meaningful connections, and inspiring others to make a lasting difference.
