My specialty is turning pain into purpose.
Everything I do is ingrained in real-life experience. I’ve lived through trauma, loss, and rebuilding, so when I speak, lead, or pour into others, it comes from a place of truth and understanding.
My purpose is to help women and young girls heal, grow, and know their worth beyond their past experiences.
My mission through The Movement is to create a safe space where women can be seen, heard, and empowered, and to equip them to rise mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and even financially.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just talk about it, I’ve lived it!
I lead with transparency, faith, and authenticity. I’m nowhere near perfect; however, I’m committed to being real. And because of that, I’m able to reach women in a way that’s relatable, raw, and transformative.
I meet people where they are, but I don’t leave them there. It’s not enough to just motivate; the Movement activates!
My life didn’t start easy. Adversity found me at an early age.
I am a survivor of molestation, and I became a mother while I was still in school. I’ve experienced heartbreaking loss, including losing two of my children, my son and my daughter, in a house fire. I’ve also survived domestic violence that left lasting physical damage, walking with a limp, and eventually requiring a knee replacement.
There were seasons in my life where the pain felt overwhelming… where everything I went through could have easily defined me.
But I made a choice.
I chose not to let my past have the final say!!! I chose forgiveness! I chose healing! I chose to LIVE!
Along the way, I built businesses, including nightclubs, and even through more loss like the violent death of the man I shared my life with, I kept going.
Now, I’ve turned my story into purpose.
I am the founder of The Movement, a gathering created to empower young girls and women. Many of them have faced struggles just like I have, and I want them to know what I learned: you are not stuck, and you are not limited.
No matter where you’ve been… You can still become everything you were created to be.
If I can, you will, So Keep Moving!
I am honored to have received.
“The Strength of a Woman Be Her” award. I’m a co-author of the book titled “Dream Girl.”
I am an ordained minister and a certified life coach. Besides the titles, what truly defines me is being a daughter, a momma-lama-do, a sister, a cousin, an auntie, a YaYa, and a friend. This fuels my purpose and keeps me centered in service to others.

Principles to Live By

Any struggles along the way? If yes, please tell us how you overcame them. If no, please tell us why you think there wasn’t any.

In building The Movement, I’ve faced my share of struggles and seasons of lack.
There were times when I didn’t have the resources, and the confidence, but I had the vision, strong women and the Holy Spirit, And I kept moving.

Those moments taught me how to trust God, how to stretch what I had, and how to lead even when things were crazy.
