My mission is to empower disadvantaged individuals and communities through support, resources, and opportunities that build dignity, self-sufficiency, and long-term growth.
My purpose is to serve as a source of hope, guidance, and practical help for those facing hardship. I am committed to addressing inequality and helping people recognize their own worth and that of their families.
My focus is on meeting people where they are, offering compassion, mentorship, and access to essential tools such as education, life skills, and community support. I aim to create a lasting impact by encouraging resilience, promoting personal development, and helping individuals move from survival to stability and success.

What is your story

I got started over 40 years ago, feeding the Homeless community. This has helped me find compassion within myself to always serve those in need. The Table of Givers and my church have given me the opportunity to serve at a greater level.

Accomplishments/Accolades/Awards

My proudest moment was to open my home to individuals suffering from HIV when no one wanted them around. Yes, I have received accolades, recognitions, and awards for my community service, but it’s not about me; it’s about the work I do and the people I serve.

What Does Being “Dauntless” Mean to You?

Dauntless means that I am fearless, brave, and relentless when it comes to my mission of helping others live a productive life. The love that I have for helping/serving others was not taught. It comes from my heart. It’s in my DNA.

The way I practice it in my everyday life is looking for opportunities and ways to serve others on another level. My motto is: When you have done it unto the least of them, you have done it unto me the Lord.

My personal definition of courage & authenticity is not thinking about my own personal needs, but always finding ways to serve others out of love and not obligation.

If You Could Change One Thing About the World, What Would It Be?

If I had a chance to change one thing about the world, it would be the government laws on funding for unhoused and underprivileged people in the world. Men, women, and children just need basic needs as everyone else has, but they need extra funding to help because of the unforseen situations they are in.

Personal Life

I love, love traveling. I have traveled to China, Dubai, Egypt, Spain, Thailand, Africa, Hawaii, and numerous cities in the US. I love volunteering at concerts and homeless shelters. My life is my faith. I am an ordained Elder and minister of the Gospel. My first passion is praying. I live to pray and stand in the gap for my daughter, family, friends, and strangers. God is my source and the strength of my life. Without the support of God, my family, and close friends, I could not do what I love: serving and volunteering.

What is the most important principle or rule you live by?

The most important Rules/Principles I live by are Integrity, honesty, and good moral character.
I treat people with dignity, respect, compassion, kindness, and love. If you live by these values, all good things will follow you in meaningful ways.
