About Me

Founder of Chosen For The Arts

In Conversation

My specialty is creating meaningful events, leading strong operations, and helping ideas grow into successful projects with purpose and excellence. Through PNP Planning and Consulting, I manage event planning, operations, administration, and consulting for executives, organizations, and community initiatives that need both structure and vision.
My work includes leading major events, supporting fundraising efforts, guiding projects from start to finish, and helping organizations build strong systems that create real impact.
As Founder of Chosen For The Arts, my mission is to create opportunities through the arts, education, scholarship, and cultural programs that strengthen communities, open doors for others, and leave a lasting impact beyond the moment.
What sets me apart is that I do not simply plan events — I am intentional and selective about the work I take on, because I believe every project should carry purpose and matter in meaningful ways. I combine strong leadership, attention to detail, and community understanding to create work that is professional, purposeful, and built to last.
I first developed an interest in this work as a child by watching my mother, who naturally knew how to bring people together, organize details, and make sure things were done with care and purpose. Early on, I saw how much thoughtful planning could shape an experience and make people feel valued.
That interest continued as I became a youth leader in my church, where I began helping plan programs, activities, and events. Those early experiences taught me responsibility, leadership, and the importance of creating things that have meaning for others.
Over time, that foundation grew into professional work in tourism, administration, and operations, where I learned to manage large projects, work with diverse groups, and understand the level of structure required for successful events and initiatives.
That journey eventually led me to build Chosen For The Arts and PNP Planning and Consulting, where I now combine planning, operations, consulting, and community-focused work to create projects that are intentional, impactful, and built to serve with purpose. What began as something I observed as a child has grown into work that now allows me to help shape opportunities, experiences, and platforms that can leave a lasting difference.
Some of my proudest moments have come from creating experiences that brought something new, meaningful, and memorable to my city. I have always valued developing events that are not simply gatherings, but experiences people remember — thoughtful concepts designed to bring people together in a special way while also serving a larger purpose.
One of my greatest milestones has been building community-centered work that continues to grow in impact, particularly through projects that give back, create opportunities, and strengthen cultural connections. What began as small ideas has grown into large public experiences that now serve families, support scholarship efforts, celebrate culture, and create spaces where community can gather with purpose.
What I value most is seeing work move beyond the event itself and become something that leaves a lasting impression, supports others, and continues to matter long after the day is over.

I’m very much a homebody unless I’m doing something with my children, who keep life active and full, especially during sports seasons like football and their many other activities. As a single parent, much of my personal time naturally centers around family, and they keep me constantly moving.

I also enjoy history and often spend time researching ideas, traditions, and experiences that can inspire new opportunities to create for the community. I am always interested in discovering thoughtful ways to introduce something meaningful, different, and memorable that people can enjoy together.

Principles to Live By

What advice would you give your younger self?

I remind myself that your talent will open doors for you. What is meant for you comes naturally when you remain devoted to your calling.

I also remind myself to keep my heart, motives, and intentions honest and genuine. When you build with purpose and authenticity, it will connect with those it is meant for. If some do not understand or support it, that doesn’t diminish its worth—it simply means they are not the intended audience.

This advice keeps me grounded and focused: stay intentional and build with purpose to reach those who need what I offer.
